How Acensus collects, uses, and protects information — including the specific terms that apply to text messaging.
01Who we are
Acensus LLC (“Acensus”, “we”, “us”) is a growth and enterprise-value firm working with private-pay home care and private-duty home healthcare companies. This policy explains what information we collect through acensus.io and our related communications, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
This policy covers business contact information. We do not provide care services and we do not collect patient health information.
02Information you give us
You provide information directly when you request the Admissions Diagnostic, book a call, subscribe to our emails, or contact us. That typically includes:
- Name and job title
- Company name
- Business email address
- Business phone number, including mobile if you provide one
- Information you choose to share about your company — inquiry volume, staffing, referral sources, and similar operating details
Please do not send us patient information, medical records, or any other protected health information. We do not need it, and our systems are not intended to hold it.
03Information collected automatically
When you visit the site we collect standard technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps. This is used to understand how the site performs and where visitors come from.
04How we use information
- To respond to your request and to schedule and conduct the Admissions Diagnostic
- To prepare and deliver the written analysis
- To communicate with you about our services
- To send marketing emails, where you have opted in or where permitted by law
- To send text messages, where you have expressly opted in
- To operate, secure, and improve the site
- To meet legal and record-keeping obligations
05Text messaging
If you provide a mobile number and opt in, we may send text messages about your inquiry, scheduled calls, and our services.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Consent. You opt in by submitting a form on which you have checked the box consenting to receive text messages, or by otherwise giving express written consent. Consent to receive marketing texts is never a condition of purchasing anything from us.
Message frequency. Varies. You will generally receive messages relating to an inquiry you made or a call you booked.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply. Rates are set by your mobile carrier, not by us.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at [email protected] or (818) 607-6717.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
06Email
We send two kinds of email: messages relating directly to your inquiry or engagement, and marketing emails about our services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our postal address. Unsubscribing stops marketing email; it does not stop messages about an active engagement.
07Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and understand how it is used, including analytics provided by third parties. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Refusing cookies may affect how parts of the site function.
08How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers. Companies that operate our systems on our behalf — customer relationship management, email and SMS delivery, scheduling, analytics, and hosting. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
- Legal requirements. Where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfer. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Mobile opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing, as stated in Section 05.
09Retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, and afterwards as required for legal, tax, or record-keeping reasons. You may ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below.
10Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11Your choices
- Email: unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email.
- Text: reply STOP.
- Access, correction, or deletion: email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period.
12California residents
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email [email protected].
13Visitors outside the United States
We operate in the United States and information we collect is processed there. If you contact us from outside the US, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
14Children
The site is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
15Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date shown above indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
